Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

The new shooter in the Plants vs Zombies series will carry the subtitle Battle For Neighborville, and judging by the first trailer, it is no longer a parody of Battlefield.

It's no surprise that new Plants Vs. Zombies game for PC and consoles. Electronic Arts has already invited people to test the game codenamed "Picnic", and now the game has officially been revealed as Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville.

Behind that name lies the continuation of Garden Warfare, with a slight change in image. Namely, while the Garden Warfare games were a kind of parody of Battlefield and Call of Duty, the new PvZ shied away from militaristic motifs and embraced warm colors and is stylistically irresistibly reminiscent of Fortnite.

The game brings out 20 characters / classes, including six new ones, three each on the zombie side and three on the plant side.

PvZ: Battle for Neighborville will be one of those games that EA will sell as an Early Access title. Because it is logical: EA - Early Access. Basically, the game is available now, with only one PvP mode (Turf Takeover) and a PvE arena called Town Center. But next week, a new mode arrives, and then in the coming weeks until October 18, when the game officially comes out.

Founder's Edition will cost € 30 and go on sale until September 30. The game will, of course, have microtransactions, but all additional content will not be charged (battle pass will be free) and there will be no loot boxes… for now.
