The creators of the Paladins have announced a new multiplayer shooter, Rogue Company

The creators of the popular multiplayer titles SMITE and Paladins have announced another game that they plan to connect across all platforms.

The Hi-Rez Studios development team is good at providing alternatives to popular games. Their SMITE was thus a good alternative to popular MOBA titles, and the Paladins served as a good alternative to hero shooters like Overwatch. Now it's time for Hi-Rez Studios to offer an alternative in the battle royale genre.

Their new game called Rogue Company is not essentially a battle royale title, but there are some links. Players thus jump out of the plane at the beginning of the match and land on a map where a showdown between the two teams begins. The game will have a number of different PvP modes and the first one shown in the trailer is 5v5 formats.

It has been announced that Rogue Company will have a cross-play option as soon as it is released, and with it cross-progression on all platforms - PC, PS4, XBO and Switch consoles. In addition, it is promised that the game will spin at 60 frames per second across all platforms.

Rogue Company's exit is planned for 2020.
