Celeste finally gets the last, heaviest Farewell DLC so far
For those who can't get enough of this great platformer, the latest DLC for Celeste brings new mechanics and a bunch of never-ending levels accompanied by new music.
Celeste is one of the best platformer games of all time. We have already said that the game's visuals are very deceptive, because they make it seem like a very modest game. But behind them is a game that is relentlessly difficult, always entertaining, and brings a very emotional story. For those who can't get enough of addictive gameplay, Celeste already has a few pieces of DLC content, and it's probably coming soon.
Chapter 9: Farewell, when he comes out on September 9, should conclude the story of the entire game. He plans to do so through as many as 100 new, extremely heavy levels, accompanied by over 40 minutes of new music. The DLC will also bring some new mechanics and items that should spice up the gameplay.
The studio responsible for playing the name Matt Makes Games is shutting down, and its founder and colleagues are establishing a brand new one. He only cites the name of the studio as a reason because he has not been working on the games himself for a long time. Of course, the new studio will help them consolidate their funds and allow them to work on some new, exciting games. Let's hope as good as Celeste was.
