Nintendo wants you to sweat playing the somewhat bizarre Ring Fit Adventure game

Nintendo has announced a new game called Ring Fit Adventure that will have a unique way of controlling it with the help of a two-part Switch console add-on.

Nintendo has prepared one potential hit for the holiday season. Exclusively for the Switch console comes the Ring Fit Adventure game, which will use a two-part add-on for Joy Con controllers, which automatically means it won't be playable on the new Switch Lite console model. The accessories are called Ring-Con and Leg Strap, the first is held in the arms and the second is wrapped around the leg.

Ring Fit Adventure genreally belongs to some kind of endless runner where you run so ... literally run - in place. By squeezing the hoops or Ring-Con, you attack in the game itself, by rotating it you can paddle, jump, fly, etc. Every once in a while opponents who challenge him to various exercises get in the way - for example, squats, bending, etc.

Ring-Con can be calibrated as desired, which means it can provide greater or less resistance, whichever is more convenient for the user. Running can also be avoided with the option not to lift the feet off the ground. It also means that everyone - older and younger - can play the game. Those who cannot run in the main mode will prefer the Quick Play option that activates mini-games, ie exercises for the target body.

Ring Fit Adventure is coming out this fall, October 18, and will cost a little more than standard games priced at € 80.
