Sony also misses this year's Game Developers Conference

Sony is very concerned about their health, so after PAX East they delayed their arrival at Game Developers Conference.

While everyone is eagerly awaiting information about Sony's new games and the console, it seems like it won't be any time soon. The company is concerned about the health conditions of its workers due to the appearance of coronaviruses, so it will not send anyone to San Francisco, where the convention should be held from 16 to 20 March.

"We made the difficult decision to cancel our arrival at the Game Developers Conference due to increased concern about COVID-19, better known as the coronavirus," the official statement said.

Sony has thus joined Facebook, which should appear as a sponsor at the GDC, but will not because of the continued spread of the virus and the new panic. All of them are at the forefront of the safety and health protection of employed staff. Oculus virtual Facebook affiliate will present its projects via online format.

GDC organizers said they closely monitor the coronavirus situation and take the publishing community's concerns about the health of their staff very seriously. However, they are confident that with the help of strict quarantine laws currently in place in the US, they will be able to hold an event at the Moscone Center.

Sony is the second major event to skip after canceling their appearance at PAX East for the same reason.
