To our surprise, a new Call of Duty is coming out this year as well

Activision has confirmed plans for the current year, and their plans are quite predictable. New Call of Duty.

There will be no new Battlefield this year, but Activision has confirmed there is no truce. The new Call of Duty is out by the end of 2020. Because it has to come out. That's how the universe works, and so does the business plan of the Activision team.

It is not yet publicly known whose Call of Duty we will play. According to the schedule so far, it is the turn of the Sledgehammer Games team that have made Advanced Warfare and WWII Advanced F press pay to date. However, according to rumors, the development of the next game was taken over by the Treyarch team, so we may have a new Black Ops. Five or… Black Ops IIIII.

I really wouldn't be surprised to call it that.

In related news, in addition to Call of Duty, Activision will launch some old games in 2020 with a new look. It won't be a full rework or even a remaster in the full sense of the word. Will it be old games with some new content? Nothing has been named, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is a likely contender.

It's just that these games don't remaster as Warcraft 3: Reforged.
