Battle Royale mode for Modern Warfare is scheduled to arrive early next month

Battle Royale fever will hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare early next month, and we'll probably be able to play the mod for free without owning the entire game.

At the beginning of the second season of Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward was teasing players with the possibility of a battle royale mode in the game. One of the trailers on the horizon showed a suspicious hoop that was seemingly narrowing those soldiers jumping out of the plane, and the players shortly afterwards managed to confirm the existence of fashion by using glitch to enter its menu. In addition, by chance, which is deliberate, more and more details are released to the public, as well as the information that we will be able to play the game very quickly.

As we've written before, the mod will be called Warzone, and will support up to 200 players, which will be divided into teams. Like Apex Legends, there will be mechanics of "pinging" opponents and locations, some of which will overlap with those seen in Ground War mode. Warzone will also have its own "plunder" currency, which will be earned by killing other players, and it will be possible to spend on weapons and equipment. It will also be possible to accumulate and transfer through multiple matches, but in that case the player will be marked as a valuable target.

Instead of returning to me, death will throw players into a sort of gulag where they will have to clash one-on-one with another player for the opportunity to return to the match. What is most interesting is that Warzone will supposedly be completely free and will be playable without having Modern Warfare. It will even be possible to purchase a full game battle pass and earn all cosmetics and items by playing Warzone exclusively.

The mod is scheduled to arrive in the first half of the third month, and as Tuesday's game gets regular updates, we're expecting it on 02 or 10.03.
