A year after it first appeared on PC, the realistic shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm has a release date on consoles. Unfortunately, it's not very close.
The Insurgency Tactical Shooter: Sandstorm on PC came out in late 2018 and it was then said that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console versions would follow shortly. More than “soon” came from this - the game did not appear on these platforms during 2019, so it was doubtful whether it would ever be completed.
The answer is - they will, and now we finally know when. Focus Home Interactive will launch Insurgency: Sandstorm on consoles on August 25, 2020. That date is not very close, it still has half a year to go, but it is at least specifically set and perhaps more importantly - before the new Call of Duty.
