Netflix accidentally revealed the action of their Resident Evil series

Resident Evil attacks from all weapons, so apart from remakes and sequels from the franchise, Netflix is coming to take us to some brand new places.

Marketing knows no boundaries today, so it's hard to say whether the disclosure of the action was a deliberate or wrong click on the inveterate Netflix Twitter account administrator. Although the controversial Tweet was deleted very quickly, with the help of the magic of the web archive page, we have confirmation that Netflix is working on the Resident Evil series and a few sentences about what to expect from it.

According to the description, the series will take us to some new places, more specifically to a city called Clearfield, MD. The action will take place 26 years after the T-virus outbreak, and will revolve around Umbrella Corporation, Greenwood Psychiatric Hospital and Washington D.C.. The plan is for the series to extend and deepen the franchise's existing mythology by exploring the inner workings of the Umbrella corporation and the new world order caused by the virus. The series will reportedly have 8 episodes, each lasting an hour.

It is unknown when it comes out or whether we will see some famous faces in it. Someone noticed that the scene was called by combining the names of two famous protagonists (Claire and Redfield), but it was probably just a wink to fans of the series. They are very cautious about the series, especially given the questionable quality of some Netflix series, as well as poor films with Milo Jovovich in the lead role.
