The wonderful news - The Wonderful 101 arrives on PC, PS4 and Switch

One of the more prominent exclusives of the former Wii U console will appear on most current platforms today, announced Platinum Games.

We don't remember the last time I wrote about a crowdfunding hit on Kickstarter, but it happened while we were sleeping in Europe. The Platinum Games team announced some news yesterday, and it turned out to be related to their 2013 game The Wonderful 101, an action adventure that was exclusive to the Wii U console.

We say * was * because Platinum Games has launched a crowdfunding campaign to produce Switch, Steam and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. And in less than four hours, a sufficient sum of money was raised for all. At the time of writing this news, it stands at $ 1 million and $ 35,000, but grows from second to second. The following promo video, in a totally Japanese way, certainly helped:

The Wonderful 101 is a game where we control a horde of different superheroes. They have the power to connect and transform into different objects, thus fighting large opponents. The game can be played independently or cooperatively in a group of five players.

The PC, PS4, and Switch versions won't bring much new content, but there will still be some improvements over things the team wasn't happy with the original. And it seems like bringing The Wonderful 101 is just the beginning, as Platinum Games has promised a total of four announcements for 2020, the first of which.
