Battle Royale mode arrives in Modern Warfare, the map can already be explored
Did you think Activision Blizzard could resist calling you money and deny Modern Warfare players battle battle royale mode? Come on, please!
Season two of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare kicks off yesterday, and while there are no battle royale mods in the news, chances are it will be out soon. Namely, during the second season we will get another new map, and the same can already be seen as a CoD caster in a private match on the Atlas Superstore map.
The map is too big to be used for anything other than battle royale format, and additional confirmation that battle royale is coming is also seen in the final animation of the second season, at which the soldiers are jumping out of the plane while green fog is seen in the distance as a shrinking hoop. According to some unofficial reports, this battle royale mode should support up to 200 players, running in solo, duos and squad (4) formats. Supposedly the mod should be called Warzone.
