Not gold is all that shines, but it's the theme of a new season at Fortnite, it seems. And the reveal of the season itself is preceded by a real-world detective game.
The last season at Fortnite was launched in the mid-tenth month of 2019, following the famed turn of the world. During this period, Chapter 2 was also annoying to Fortnite's biggest fans, due to the fact that it was the longest period of Fortnite without thematic changes. But changes are coming - this Thursday, February 20th.
Epic Games has already begun to share indications of what Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 2 is bringing, and according to the first materials, it seems that the theme of the season will be the hunt for gold. Specifically, at Fortnite, some facilities have already begun to be converted to gold versions, which can currently be seen in the Eye Land area. On the gold toilet bowl are files with the ALTER logo, which has so far been presented as a major opponent in Chapter 2.
The same agency also refers to recorded messages that can be reached by calling the phone numbers that Epic Games shares as part of a worldwide public game. Specifically, Fortnite players noticed animated commercials across France, Italy, Spain and Poland, with phone numbers leading to messages in the style: “Agency recruitment drive is a go. Happy hunting agents. Agents, oil rig operation is a go. ”
Specific details will be revealed when the second season begins, and until then we can enjoy the novelty that has been waiting too long and could change Fortnite from the ground up. Here's what it's about:
