The creators of NBA 2K20 forgot to change the game icon from last year

The utterly bizarre failure of the Visual Concepts development team laughed, but also disappointed NBA 2K series fans.

The season of new sports games has arrived and the question arises again - is anything really new to these games or did their creators just recycle content from last year and make it no one notices? If you ask Madden NFL 20 and NBA 2K20 players, those games are proof that not much has changed since last year's releases.

Specifically, in Maden 2o players found a fence texture on which instead of Madden NFL 20, Madden NFL 19 was written. Someone apparently fell asleep at work at EA Sports. But it's also good - a bigger shame happened to 2K Sports. In the PC version of NBA 2K20, the team forgot to update the icon of the game itself, so when players launch NBA 2K20, it tells them to play NBA 2K19.

Quite expectedly, the players were flooded with such sluggishness and laziness. NBA 2K20 has by far the worst user ratings in the series on both Steam and Metacritic, and one of the main complaints is that the game is practically the same as last year.
