Someone made a game of hide and seek in VR

Who did not hide, his ass was in virtual space with the innovative VR game Hide and Freeze.

ImproVive's latest studio project is Hide & Freeze. It's a game that tries to replicate the experience of playing hide-and-seek with virtual reality, but with interesting plot twists. For example, on one map, players will have thumbnails that will have to be hidden among toys scattered around the bedroom. In this situation, the hunter becomes a giant who has to scour every inch of the room to find teammates before time runs out. After the hunter touches you, you have to wait for your teammates to "defrost" you so you can escape, which adds extra dynamism to this version of the popular game we all played as young people.

The hunter will be able to pick up toys to see if the players are hiding under them, and they will try to trick him by trying to get in space with various camouflage techniques and thus escape him. On some maps, you will need to reach the destination before the hunter finds you, and although moving around the map is teleportation based and a little tricky, laughing and tacting should be absent.

Admittedly, the game seems unfinished, so it resents the fact that it doesn't have an indicator to tell if a player is hiding in an object or not. Also, the space and objects in it act generically as if they were taken from Unity's store, and the game would certainly not be harmed by additional cosmetic procedures. However, we will only be able to play the game sometime in the future, and there are currently three folders under development and it is expected that ImproVive will improve the game by the time it is released.
