Zombies, werewolves and ghost are reportedly (were) opponents in Resident Evil 8

Rumors have emerged about the alleged Resident Evil 8, and several sources have confirmed that the game will be a first-person look.

Last week, rumors spread that Resident Evil 8 had been in production since 2016, but for some reason the whole project was brought back to zero half a year ago. The rumor was reported by AestheticGamer, the same news source for the new Silent Hill games, but a slightly more detailed rumor surfaced yesterday, which aired on the Residence of Evil YouTube channel.

Several interesting statements were made there. The game should thus not be called Resident Evil 8 but otherwise, but it will keep the performance of the last numbered part so it will be from a first-person perspective. Mention is made of the return of the main character of the week, Ethan, as well as old acquaintance Chris Redfield.

Zombies are also reportedly returning, and players should also be threatened by werewolves and some female spirit that would haunt the players and chase them around a village and castle.

From all this, it has been confirmed from multiple sources that the game really should be performed with a first-person view. The guy who initially mentioned RE8 a week earlier believes that the idea of werewolves and ghosts is one that Capcom ultimately crossed over and that the game from this description is not the definitive version of some future Resident Evil we will get.

So take this information with a big dose of reserve. There are only two things to be sure: there will be a new Resident Evil and the week is unlikely to remain the only RE first-person title. Everything else is debatable, but we're curious: do you think werewolves would fit well in this series?
