Here are some of the games that made the most money last year, some of you probably haven't even heard of


Fortnite and FIFA 19 are on the list of the most lucrative games, but the rest of the list is quite interesting. You probably have never heard of some of these games.

Superdata has released its annual report which gives us an insight into which games made their creators the most money in 2019.

Without too many surprises, the most wasted in free-to-play titles - as much as 80% of its digital revenue in 2019 was transactions in "free" games.

Most of the money last year went towards a global gaming phenomenon called Fortnite (just like in 2018) with a total of $ 1.8 billion in revenue. But already in second place is a game that we're sure many of you have never heard of - Dungeon Fighter Online. Otherwise, Fortnite secured this top spot again even though revenue in 2019 was actually 25% lower than in 2018 (2.4 billion).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare proudly ranks second with a total of $ 645 million in revenue, and the new FIFA 20 was not on the market enough to surpass the time-consuming GTA 5, which is still on the list for years after its release. And he usually stands proudly in the TOP 5.

Compared to 2018, last year saw a 5% decline in the premium segment, mainly due to the smaller number of big headlines in 2019. Despite this, spending in the gaming industry continued to grow an additional 4%. The mobile platform gaming segment once again brought in the largest revenue with $ 64.4 billion, followed by the PC platform with $ 29.6 billion and the console with $ 15.4 billion.
