DiRT Rally 2.0 will receive the Colin McRae DLC
Codemasters confirmed the content and details of the first major expansion for DiRT Rally 2.0 in 2020.
It's been over a decade since the DiRT series has any direct connection to former rally legend Colin McRae. Those who are a little older know that the Codemasters' DiRT Rally was preceded by the Colin McRae Rally at the beginning of the century, and a kind of tribute to these fans will be a new extension of the current DiRT Rally 2.0.
Specifically, on March 24 this year, a DLC called the Colin McRae Flat Out Pack arrives. This will in all likelihood be a closing expansion for the game to pay tribute to the late driver on the occasion of his 25th anniversary since he became World Rally Champion.
The expansion will bring two new driving locations, both in Scotland, namely Kinross and Perth. A total of 12 routes will be run as part of the same. Some of them will also go through 40 new scenarios designed for the career of McRae himself. Nine new cars will be driven, including a Subaru S4 Rally and a Subaru Legacy RS.
The Colin McRae Flat Out Pack will be free of charge to all Deluxe Edition DiRT Rally 2 owners and Season Pass owners. However, it will be able to be purchased separately, but you will still need it with DiRT Rally 2.0.
