From Software congratulates on New Year's Eve when Elden Ring comes out

Elden Ring is rumored to be the biggest game from the From Software workshop so far, revealing a tentative date of its release via a New Year's greetings card.

Elden Ring is a mysterious action RPG set in a world of dark fantasy. What is especially looking forward to is the fact that the same creation by Souls series director Hidetake Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin. Given that From Software is swimming in the Game of the Year awards with Sekir, we expect nothing less from Elden Ring, who we seem to be playing earlier than we thought.

The expectations were that Elden Ring would only be released in late 2020, but From Software surprised us quite a bit. Specifically, on their official site, you can request a New Year's greetings with the theme of one of their three games. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Metal Wolf Chaos XD and Elden Ring are offered, with each game spelling out their release time. The first two games say so in 2019, with Elden Ring listed as the "sixth month."

If the information is correct, it means that the largest From Software game has been split by less than half a year. Of course, there is the possibility that by the sixth month, the game's reveal time during the 2019 E3 trade show. As the sixth month is traditionally very weak in terms of new games, launching Elden Ring at the time is not a crazy idea. We will wait for some more secure confirmation, but also hope that this information is absolutely correct.
