PUBG enters season six with a new map and environmental destruction

The sixth season of the popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been announced, featuring a new map called Karakin as the main star.

The sixth season at PUBG starts on January 22 on PC and January 30 on consoles. The creators of the game have announced that the main novelty in it will be a new map, called Karakin, which is designed for 64-player matches. They say the map combines the tension of Miramar with the dynamism of Sanhok, and is four square kilometers in size.

Karakin will be a very specific map as it will randomly activate the so-called Black Zone. When the Black Zone appears on a specific part of the map, buildings and other objects become susceptible to destruction, that is, they can be destroyed. There are also so-called breach points on the rest of the map that you can destroy with explosives, usually walls and ceilings. Some walls can also be punctured with bullets.

Karakin will also be able to operate the first aircraft to officially arrive at PUBG today. The aircraft is currently available to players on PC, and will be able to ride on consoles from January 30, starting the sixth season.
