One of PvP's favorite modes is coming back to Destiny 2 soon
Destiny 2 is slowly but surely getting back on track with Taken King and is becoming a better game. The latest news is that Trials of Osiris PvP mode is coming as part of next season.
Cunning data miners are attacking again! This time, Destiny 2 is once again on target, and they have revealed a bunch of new details about upcoming content. So we learned that the tenth season will most likely be called Season of the Worthy, but also that the favorite PvP Trials of Osiris mode from the original Destsiny will return as part of the same.
For those who don't know, Trials of Osiris was a mode that clashed two teams with three players each. Unlike standard Crucible, power level equipment played a significant role, and there was no matchmaking which meant you had to have at least two friends who are not bad at PvP. The mod offered special prizes, and it was extremely difficult because winning them required 9 consecutive wins.
First of all, as an overture to the upcoming season, the Empyrean Foundation event arrives next week. So players in the Worthy name event will have to renovate a location known as the Lighthouse that will be known to franchise veterans. Namely, it was a location on the planet Mercury that was available to the winners right within the Trials of Osiris mode. We know that mission players will have to donate 5,000 polarized fractaline currency that they were able to collect during the current season. Well, get down to the shrink while you're still there.
More details about the Empyrean Foundation event itself will be shared by Bungie in the coming days, and hopefully a slightly more official announcement next season shortly after.
