Warner Bros. Games Montreal is by no means announcing this new Batman. But, lest you forget how the game is made, there are some more enigmatic materials for you.
On a minimum of three occasions last year, we expected the announcement of a game called Batman: Arkham Legacy. As you probably know, this did not happen on the occasion of 80 years of Batman, either at the Game Awards ceremony or as part of the State of Play show. But hope did not die.
Development studio WB Games Montreal today re-released two images with the accompanying caption "Capture the Knight", which together form a coat of arms. For now, it is not known exactly what that coat of arms represents, but it is clear that it uses certain motifs related to Batman's Gotham City, such as scales, stars and twigs. It is actually very similar to the Gotham City Police Department badge.
Fans' reaction to another cryptic track of the new Batman game is now slowly revealing frustration. Many have written that it is high time to announce the game because for the third time WB Games is showing something whose meaning is known only to them.
