Almost 5 years after its release, Witcher 3 has played over 100,000 players

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has climbed among the most played games on Steam for almost five years after originally cheering us on its release.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the highest quality and most popular games of the past decade. And on our list, he shone in the second place of the best games of the decade by hair only, losing the title of The Last of Us. Although the game can often be found in the top 100 most played games on Steam, this week it surprised with a new achievement. There were more players playing on Steam at the same time than when she first came out five years ago.

On its way out, Wild Hunt reached a staggering 92,000 players, and now that record has broken. An impressive 102,000 players were enough to make the game the sixth most played game on Steam at one point. What is more interesting is that this achievement has been surpassed by games like Destiny and Path of Exile that work on the game model as a service.

In addition to the hefty discounts where the game could be purchased for about a dozen dollars, the credit goes in part to Netflix's Witcher series. It has received general approval from the audience and has obviously aroused interest in the first or replay of this excellent RPG.
