Sims start living in confined spaces - 100 square meters

The new expansion for The Sims 4 will focus on compact living in compact spaces.

Life in the Sims is completely at odds with the simulation of real life. Fewer people today can afford their own real estate, and in large cities, it is crowded into cramped spaces. The inhabitants of the so-called The "third world" in the Sims couldn't even fill the most basic meters for happiness.

Some will say that the dream life is the point of the Sims series, but its creators still want to keep it a compelling simulation of the life of the common man, so with the new expansion it will introduce something that many can recognize - living in a small space. The Tiny Living Pack, which arrives Jan. 21 on PC and Feb. 4, brings so many new items to consoles that will be handy for small homes.

Admittedly, when we say small, it is not very small for our terms. The definition of a small home in Sims 4 will be up to 100 squares. Some people find it cramped, but I doubt very much that anyone in our reality would call an 80-100 square meter apartment a small apartment.

I also like how a smaller home in Sims automatically means a lower overhead price, which is not necessarily true. And only this claim that a romantic relationship will blossom into a smaller square… no, just not. Stop lying to the wrong people!
