Google plans to launch 10 Stage Exclusives before summer 2020
Google doesn't have many Stage-related features right now, so they only promise - exclusive games are coming.
Interest in the Google Stadio streaming platform was relatively low immediately after launch, and if unofficial statistics are to be believed, two months later, this interest is almost nonexistent. One reason for this is the lack of interesting games. There are quality Stadia titles, but there is only one game that cannot be played elsewhere.
Google said yesterday it would "fix" it by the seventh month of 2020, and that they already had 10 temporary exclusives in place. And when they say temporary exclusives, they certainly don't mean games from their own production.
“Looking at our current game lineup, we are monitoring more than 120 games that will arrive at the Stadium in 2020 and are targeting 10 games that will only be available at the Stadium in the first half of the year. We are working with our partners and will share more information about these games soon. ”- reads an official statement.
One of these exclusive games has already been announced. It's called Spitlings, it belongs to the 2D arcade genre, and it's by no means a game that makes users rush to take the Stage. This is why Twitter started teasing - people are asking when they will play Half-Life 3, Pokemon and Knack on the Stage, and platform representatives kindly tell them that there are currently no plans for those Stage games.
