Alienware has revealed a laptop that is actually a more powerful Switch console

Alienware Concept UFO is a portable gaming PC of miniature format that is obviously inspired by the Nintendo Switch console.

Alienware brought something unoriginal to this year's CES trade show - a gaming PC in the Nintendo Switch console format. The Concept UFO is a kind of tablet with detachable controllers. The central unit can also be connected to the TV via Thunderbolt.

The screen diagonal is eight inches and the resolution is 1200p, a significant jump over 6.2 inches and 720p resolution on the Switch console. The device is powered by the tenth generation of Intel's Core processor, and the operating system is Windows 10. Therefore, it is possible to use other external devices on it, from keyboards to mice. However, the games run through a separate launcher - of course.

Admittedly, the Concept UFO is just that - a concept. It is not yet known if it will even become a specific product available to the public. Alienware therefore hides two key details - how long the batteries of this device would last while playing and how the device itself would cool. According to the press, who have had the opportunity to use a prototype device, it may be perceived as quite loud, but this is obviously a price for better performance and higher quality of graphics than on the Switch.
