With this controller, cell phones become like a Nintendo Switch console, roughly
The Razer Kishi controller is a successor to the Razer Junglecat and could be ideal for streaming games.
For some time, Razer has been "mimicking" Nintendo through the production of external mobile controllers that resemble a successful Switch console by design. Last year, they launched the Razer Junglecat controller, which had its drawbacks and advantages, and now they've announced the Razer Kishi, a new version of the detachable controller with some changes in design and functionality.
The biggest change compared to Junglecat controllers is that Razer Kishi controllers will not have to charge separately, but will draw energy directly from the cell phone via USB-C or Apple Lightning port. If that sounds like a problem, the comforting news is that you can put your cellphone on charge while using a Razer Kishi.
As the controller connects directly to the mobile device, Razer promises extremely low response times, so Kishi is a good candidate for streaming games (Stadia, xCloud). Of course, it will work with all Android and iOS games that are compatible with MFi controllers.
The design is most similar to the Xbox's asymmetrical approach. Razer plans to launch it sometime in 2020, and it will sell for around a hundred euros.
