It is not clear to Horizon developer Zero Dawn why PlayStation fans are angry because the game is coming to PC
One of the Guerilla Games employees watched in amazement at the angry reaction of a fan who didn't like Horizon Zero Dawn coming to PC.
Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC after three years of exclusivity for the PlayStation 4 console this summer. And some avid PlayStation brand fans don't like it at all. One such on Twitter recorded his angry outburst after it was confirmed that the Guerrilla Games game would no longer be PS4 exclusive. He made such a flipped table with the message that Sony and Guerrilla had ruined his birthday and rejected decades of his allegiance to nothing.
This angry reaction mostly taunted other users, but it also reached the creators of the game. Guerilla Games' Sam Sharma was appalled at this behavior and wondered what the hell people were reacting to when the game came to PC.
"We made a game, you enjoyed it. Now more people will be able to enjoy it the same way. And that somehow diminishes your pleasure ?! Your enjoyment is not diminished just because other people will be able to play the game. ” Said Sharma.
In the end, it turned out that the "angry reaction" was actually a fake one and was made as a parody. However, it is clear that the arrival of Horizon on PC is really not to some, so the developer left a wise message for such.
“We create games because we really want to cheer and entertain people. If a game creator gets a chance to reach a new audience, they will take that opportunity. If you're angry about it and think you're betrayed if more people are going to play a game, you're thinking wrong. You allow yourself to define your own value through the exclusivity of a game. ” Sharma concluded.
