Nintendo players are being barred by PlayStation 4 players from doing Super Mario games

Nintendo is overseeing Sony's Dreams game and is seeking to ban creators from creating content that includes Nintendo's characters.

In a game called Dreams for PlayStation 4, it is possible to make games, scenes, characters and music according to original ideas. However, the most popular creations in the game include famous characters: Spider-Man, Crasha Bandicoot, Super Mario and others. While the creation of such characters is generally forbidden, the moderation itself is not rigorous, so deleting the content is the only complaint of others. And that's exactly what happened in Super Mario's case.

The user, nicknamed Piece_of_Craft, was thus removed from Dreams by his Super Mario creation, and the notice explicitly states that this occurred at the request of Nintendo. Fortunately, the creator of the content in question will not suffer the consequences because Nintendo has no legal basis to sue. However, the fact that they care about protecting their own characters is shown by the extent to which someone from Nintendo is watching what players create in the PlayStation game console.

Unfortunately, this case confirms that all those who seek to make Super Mario games at Dreams will fight the windmill in the future. Too bad, that experimentation could have given rise to some interesting ideas.
