Details about the arrival of Borderlands 3 on Steam have been released

Borderlands 3 is coming to Steam in a week, and Gearobox Software has cleared up any potential misgivings about it.

After half a year of exclusivity for the Epic Games Store, Borderlands 3 arrives on Steam next Friday, March 13, Friday! Many are eagerly awaiting it, so the Gearbox Software team has released some additional information about the launch of the game on that platform.

For starters, Borderlands 3 on Steam will be able to start downloading as of 10 March. Preload will be a useful option for some as the game will weigh 75 gigabytes. Of course, those who bought the game on EEC will not get the Steam version for free. It will also not be possible to buy DLCs on Steam to use on the EGS version.

As already known, those who purchase the version on Steam will be able to play alongside the owners of the version for the Epic Games Store. This option will also be able to be turned off. There will be no option to play with players on consoles.

The other thing that matters is that the recorded positions from the EGS version will be able to be used for Borderlands 3 on Steam. But it will be done manually and there will be no official tool for such. It is worth noting that by switching to recorded positions, players on Steam will not get all the achievements if they have already completed the game.
