The free Call of Duty: Warzone will be launched tomorrow, here is the first trailer

Activision has officially launched the first free Call of Duty game for PCs and consoles, called Call of Duty: Warzone.

Free Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone will appear on PC (Battle.net), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms tomorrow, March 10. . Other players who do not have Modern Warfare will be able to access the game from 8pm on the same day - if there are no server problems.

Those with Modern Warfare will need to download about 18-22 GB to play Warzone. New players will need to download from 83 gigabytes to 101 GB - depending on the platform.

Let's say it again - CoD: Warzone is completely free to play - you don't need to have any other Call of Duty game. It seems that no PS Plus subscription will be required to play the game on the PS4 console. However, if you are subscribed to PS Plus, you get a small reward - Warzone Combat Pack. Xbox Live requires active subscription to Xbox Live Gold.

Practically everything that we wrote about is confirmed, so here are the most important information about the game itself:

  • the game will support crossplay meaning all players from all platforms can play together and / or against each other
  • the game will have two modes: Battle Royale and Plunder
  • in Battle Royale mode, 150 players fight to survive by escaping the battle gas that surrounds them
  • the most interesting novelty of Battle Royale mode is Gulag - a place where a player goes after being eliminated for the first time and fights there in a 1v1 return battle
  • Plunder is a mode where everything revolves around making money - eliminating other players; the money can then be spent on respawn teams, equipment purchases, killstreak rewards and the like.
  • matches will take place on a large map in Verdansk, with over 300 unique objects
  • will be able to operate vehicles, both on the ground and in the air, ATV, Tactical Rover, SUV, Cargo Truck and helicopter will be available
