ARK: Survival Evolved has set a new record of its own for active players

Wildcard Studio may be pleased with the hit numbers of its dinosaur hit game on a free weekend on Steam.

ARK: Survival Evolved is a game about hunting dinosaurs and living with them. It first appeared in Early Access in 2015, and in full release, we were able to welcome it in 2017. It has literally evolved from a game marked with primitive tools to the super-advanced technology that Studio Wildcard has introduced over time.

According to data from SteamCharts, ARK has played 138,648 players in the last 24 hours. That's the highest number of people who have played the game on Steam in the last five years of its existence. Of course, figures from other platforms are not included here. It's worth noting that the number was contributed by a free weekend that offers players a try on dinosaur hunting.

In case they like it, ARK: Survival Evolved players can get it for 80% off, with no additional expansion. Three great DLCs are free to play, and are available at a discounted price of 50%. This ability to play is still valid tomorrow, so there is plenty of time for everyone to try to domesticate the dinosaur they want. Also, March 9 is the date until which the promotional discounts apply.

ARK: Survival Evolved recently received a new expansion called ARK: Genesis. Unfortunately, this DLC is not included in the above things, but it still offers rich content. From a new map to a huge turtle that can be domesticated while building a base on its back.
