We know the hardware requirements for the PC version of the upcoming Doom International. They are not scary, but they are not very loose.
The 2016 Doom was one of the best optimized games for PC, and its sequel is expected to be similar. However, Doom Eternal is based on a new version of the id Tech engine, and is still significantly more demanding than its four-year-old predecessor. Today we have received official requests and some of them may be a little exaggerated.
For example, the three most common cards among Steam users (GTX 1060, 1050, and 1050 Ti) are considered to be the minimum threshold for starting a game or are not listed at all in the official requirements. Specifically, the GTX 1060 will be sufficient for minimal gaming at the lowest settings, but in the 6GB version.
Admittedly, it's worth pointing out that game requirements count for playing the way Doom should play - at 60 frames per second. Cards not listed, primarily the GTX 1050 series, will probably be able to start the game, but not at a stable 60 frames per second.
In any case, here are the official Doom Eternal requests:
