With new textures, The Witcher 3 looks more beautiful than ever before

The third installment of the popular series is about to celebrate its fifth birthday, and PC mods continue to do impressive things with the game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a CD Project RED that has recently regained popularity, thanks to The Witcher series on Netflix. It began airing on a US streaming service late last year. This is exactly what resulted in breaking the game record by the number of active users on Steam at the same time.

The love of this game certainly has the blue of the name Halk Hogan PL. He created The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, a mode that enhanced textures and graphics within Wild Hunt. The new 11.0 update, called Toussaint, offers a great deal of graphic detail, from high quality to a rich 4K experience. The difference is very noticeable and captures the core game and both expansions.

Halk Hogan PL, the owner of this mod, claims that the latest update will come sometime during the summer. It will be the ultimate, he says, because he wants to take the game's graphic potential to heaven. "I'll surprise you," he said at the end.

CD Projekt is currently working on Cyberpunk 2077, due out later this year. After that, the Polish studio will return to the Witcher world and start making a new game of the series. Maybe in 10-15 years they decide to remaster The Witcher 3 so we would have a nice comparison to the fashion above.
