The presentation of Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed due to protests in America
CD Project RED has decided to postpone the new presentation of the long-awaited game Cyberpunk 2077 given the current situation in the United States.
First, the coronavirus delayed or canceled all living and non-living things, and now protests over police brutality against African Americans in the U.S. have disrupted previous schedules for various events, including those in the video game industry. The presentation of new games has been postponed, and this includes the Night City Wire program, as part of which Cyberpunk 2077 was to be shown on June 11.
CD Project RED has decided to move the presentation of its game to June 25, so as not to disrupt “important discussions that are currently taking place and should take place”. They said that as a team, they uncompromisingly oppose racism, intolerance and violence. In the real world, of course - in the virtual world, these are the foundations of the fun on which Cyberpunk 2077 will rest.
