So terrible - Amnesia: Rebirth has been announced

A new chapter in the Amnesia horror series is titled Rebirth and brings a new adventure with a new character.

Finland's next Frictional Games game is their first return to what most celebrated them. Amnesia: Rebirth is another first-person horror adventure, but don't take this "another" lightly. The creators of the game say that repetition is a deadly sin in horror, so they have prepared something difficult to predict for the new Amnesia. The game will supposedly test us in ways we have never experienced before and make us re-examine what really scares us.

By all accounts, Amnesia: Rebirth will not share anything in terms of the story with previous parts of the series. It will be an adventure in a brand new location - a desert in Algeria, with a brand new character who is the first female character in the series - Tasi Trianon. Tasi must struggle with time and go through personal pain and terror as soon as possible to save herself.



The game description mentions that we will solve puzzles and struggle with the use of very limited resources, both physical and mental. It has been confirmed that certain creatures will be haunted by the players in the game, but in the first trailer we did not see exactly what kind of opponents they were about. But the adult content description says we will see the bodies, so expect something similar to the one from the first Amnesia.

Amnesia: Rebirth has been announced for PC and PlayStation 4. We will play it sometime in the fall of 2020.
