Nine to Five is not a tactical game with cracked rabbits, although at first it seems

A new game called Nine to Five has found ways to capture the attention of Game Awards viewers. Fortunately, this is not a game about cracked rabbits.

Last night, anything and everything could be seen at the Game Award ceremony. Some guy yelled at Vin Diesel to take off his shirt. The creators of Disco Elysium thanked Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels for the Communist Manifesto. In the ranks of these lunatics was the announcement of the Nine to Five game.

This is a serious tactical shooter in which a player is fighting corporations with armies at his disposal. But the introductory part of the trailer suggested a totally different game - with cheerful bunnies jumping with their weapons.

With a sudden change in tone, the developers of Nine to Five have made it clear that their game is not another colorful Fortnite wannabe clone. Whether or not they will shake their heads someday - no one knows, maybe rabbits with gourds would be better served by the audience, but this is already a topic for deep discussion.

Basically, Ninte to Five is under development at the Redhill Games team, founded by Matias Myllyrinne, a former Remedy Entertainment member. The teams will be the first joint project, but individually they have years and years of experience in the video game industry.

Control received a free Expeditions upgrade

With the help of the jukebox, we will head to unexplored parts of Formation to show the Hisses who is in charge and along the way pick up prizes that cannot be found anywhere else.

As announced, Control has received a free upgrade that brings a new game mode to anyone who has finished the game or is nearing the end. Specifically, to access Expeditions mode, it is necessary to complete My Brother's Keeper mission, after which a mysterious jukebox will be available in Central Executive.

To run tasks, you also need to have tokens that can be crafted or obtained by completing Bureau Alerts, Board Countermeasures, or eliminating certain opponents. Of course, for each successfully completed expedition, a token or more will be awarded.

Specifically, the expeditions are divided into three weights and represent the most challenging challenges within the game. Therefore, it is necessary to have as good equipment as possible before performing the newly added tasks. To further spice up the weight, each expedition will have random modifications that will affect Jesse and his opponents. Even when he incorporates a 25 minute time limit into four arenas throughout the story - there will be no challenge.

In addition to the new attire that can be won here, mods for Jesse and her weapons will also be picked up with rare crafting materials.

Darksiders Genesis is more expensive on Google Stage than on PC

One of the first games launched in parallel on the Stage and PC, it's priced lower on Google's streaming platform.

Google's Stadia streaming platform did not have a particularly successful launch and was able to attract less than two hundred thousand users. However, these users may also leave the Stade soon, because at the moment it looks like Google is not trying hard.

Specifically, Darksiders Genesis is one of the first new games launched on the Stage in parallel with the classic PC version. And that should be good news for a streaming service, but for one very obvious reason it isn't. The Darksiders Genesis on the Stage costs $ 40, while on Steam it retails for $ 30, and through the preorder the game was also available for $ 25.50.

The Darksiders Genesis for the Stade is priced equal to the console versions, but these versions have the excuse for a higher price in the physical edition - it comes in a box, on a disc / card. The Stage version is obtained ... through electric air!

Google has not yet stated this, but they really don't need to - we already know that the price of the game is up to the publisher of the game itself. In other words, it is not their fault that the game is more expensive than in the classic form, and it offers less of it than in the classic form.

Introduced by Riot Forge, a publishing branch for games based in the League of Legends world

The League of Legends world will be expanded in the future by partner studios, whose games will be released by the newly founded Riot Forge.

Through the ten years that League of Legends has been available to players, Riot Games has created a rich virtual world where summoner fights take place. Of course, this is accompanied by the colorful stories of the champions themselves, so it's no wonder that Riot wants to portray the world outside the League of Legends environment.

It is for this purpose that Riot Forge, a publishing branch, has been established to deal with the revival of this world in conjunction with partner studios. This means that these games will not be developed by Riot Games but by external studios who should provide new LoL experiences and Forge will give them full support in achieving their vision.

As this is just the announcement of a new branch, there are no details yet on the games and studios themselves. We will not wait long for them, because we will get the first information at this year's The Game Awards next Friday. What's more interesting is that Riot Forge wants their games to be available to as many players as possible, covering PCs, consoles and mobile platforms.

However, this does not mean that each title will be available for all platforms, but depending on the experience that will be presented, it will work for the platform on which the game will be able to best experience.

The most complex robbery to date is coming to GTA Online

All the money you spend in the Diamond casino can now be recovered by emptying it in a robbery more complex than Ocean 11's.

Starting in the middle of this year at GTA Online, you can debit all your virtual money inside the Diamond casino. But as of next week, you will be able to get your money back, as it will be possible to rob that casino. Rockstar calls this robbery the largest, most daring and complex robbery ever made in Los Santos history. Wow, that's a lot of superlatives.

The scope of such a robbery will also be an opportunity for Rockstar to implement the more complex gameplay elements required for its performance. This will entail a plethora of missions where players will acquire equipment and plan access to loot. For example, it will be possible to set up a playroom with arcade machines where it will be possible to make models of safes and security systems and practice hacking and hacking.

Of course, it is always possible for the various stages of robbery to go wrong, leading to interesting, dynamic scenarios, but also escalation into full-blooded armed conflicts. Rockstar is still silent on the details of the robbery itself and how all that planning will ultimately culminate, but 12.12. it's not far. We just got to look at Ocean's 11 as preparation.

And Plague Tale 2 is reportedly already in development

The success of this year's A Plague Tale 2 adventure has reportedly already guaranteed a sequel that could come in 2022.

One of the most surprising surprises in the video game world in 2019 was an adventure called A Plague Tale: Innocence. In it, we led two charismatic characters through hordes of rats while having a good time. Although it was not a high-end game and no one expected any special financial results from it, it seems that Focus Home Interactive is quite pleased with the game, so much so that they have already given the green light to develop the sequel.

Admittedly, for now it's just a rumor transmitted by the French XboxSquad, but it's pretty easy to believe because A Plague Tale is the first Focus Home Interactive game to compete for numerous awards. She was thus nominated for the Game Story with the Best Story in 2019.

However, if it continues, we will wait almost three years. According to the rumor mentioned above, the Asobo Studio development team plans to finish the game in 2022 and will talk about it when they are ready.

Minecraft was the most watched game on YouTube in 2019, others are nowhere near it

YouTube shared viewership statistics in 2019, and in the video game segment, the two most popular terms are related - Minecraft and PewDiePie.

Last year, YouTube made a video with Will Smith and other "savvy" creators for the traditional preview of the year YouTube Rewind, and picked up 16 million negative reactions. This year that's why they decided to play it safe, so "rewind" is literally a preview of the most popular content without bad acting and expressing pride in the community.

Of course, we're not even interested in all of the content on YouTube, so in this news we will touch on gaming statistics. This is where the "rulers" of YouTube are directly linked. Most viewed in 2019 with four billion views was PewDiePie, who again fell in love with Minecraft during the year. And Minecraft was the most watched game with, watch now, 100 billion and 200 million views. Read that number again.

Minecraft's dominance is so big that the most watched second and third place games together don't have as many previews as Minecrat. Here's what the list looks like:

  1. Minecraft - 100.2 billion views
  2. Fortnite - 60.9 billion
  3. Grand Theft Auto V - $ 36.9 billion
  4. Garena Free Fire - 29.9 billion
  5. Roblox - 29.6 billion
