Mafia: Definitive Edition received its first update that complemented the game with new visual options and additional content.
The first update for Mafia: Definitive Edition has arrived and fixes a few things that some players have complained about, including me in the review. For starters, the interface in the game itself can be customized at will. This means that it is possible to turn off the task marker, mini-map, GPS and enemy position. Minimal HUD mode has also been introduced, with which you can hide the vehicle speedometer, description of the current task, etc.
Then Noir Mode was added which is nothing but a black and white filter. It is possible to turn it on or off at any time. Free Ride mode got some extensions, which were missing compared to the original, and depend on which vehicle is being driven in which place. The details of that upgrade, however, were left as a surprise to the players.
As for the fixes, the omission to blacken the screen in the middle of the cutscene was fixed, which is good news because it was very irritating, at least to me.
