Watch Dogs will merge with Assassin’s Creed in a subsequent DLC for the Legion

In addition to the protagonist of the first Watch Dogs game, the Legion will later be joined by Wrench from the deuce, but also a member of the Assassin fraternity.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs series have had some tiny links so far and have been suggested several times to take place in the same universe. That connection will be further deepened as there will be a character in the Watch Dogs Legion who belongs to the Brotherhood of Assassin. Her name will be Darcy, she will be a woman, she will wear a distinctive hood and use a hidden blade. And that's all we know for now.

In addition to Darcy, the Watch Dogs Legion will subsequently visit the already discovered Aiden Pearce from the first Watch Dogs, but also the masked outlaw Wrench from Watch Dogs 2. The fourth additional character will be Mina who possesses a unique skill of controlling other people's minds. All of these additional characters will be part of Season Pass content that will be available for purchase separately or will be available in the more expensive edition of the Watch Dogs Legion.

But the game will also get some free upgrades. From December 3, three multiplayer modes will be activated in the Legion. The first is the open world mode for cooperative play in a group of 2-4 players. It is worth noting that this is not a mode for cooperatively running a campaign but for executing multiplayer challenges. Spiderbot Arena is a PvP mode in which eight players will wage war by controlling spiderbot drones. Finally, there’s the old Invasion mode that allows you to appear in someone’s game as an NPC and steal their data, and someone can do the same to you.
