King Arthur: Knight’s Tale with a zombie version of King Arthur has been announced

The Hungarian NeoCore Games brings King Arthur back to life - but not in the true sense of the word. The new king is actually a kind of zombie.

Before developing games about Van Helsing’s incredible adventures, they worked on tactical games based on Arthurian legends on the Hungarian Neocore Games team. They plan to return to them as early as the beginning of 2021, but in a slightly different edition. The just-announced King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will once again be a tactical dark-hearted RPG, but in the same we won’t lead the title king but his mortal enemy Sir Mordred.

Both knights return to life after the massacre, and Mordred receives an order from the Virgin of the Lake to kill Arthur - once more. Morded thus gathers a team for the fight, and it is up to the player to face the (im) moral choices and their significant consequences on the story.

We will have more than 30 heroes in five classes to choose from. The fight will take place on moves, similar to XCOM games, and the quests will be chosen at an impromptu round table. Roguelike elements of the game will be manifested in the fact that the characters can die permanently, that is, that there is no return for them if you do not watch them.

The game has been announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. It should first come to life on Steam in early 2021, and later on other platforms. It will cost 40 euros, and you can support its development on Kickstarter, where you can get the game for ten euros less.
