Through a series of videos, Ubisoft explains the complicated story of the Assassin’s Creed series

The creators of the Assasin’s Creed series set out to explain a 13-year-long and broad story before the release of a new game, AC Valhalle.

Even the biggest fans of the Assassin’s Creed series find it hard to tell the story of the same. At first, this was still feasible while the plot focused on a smaller number of characters, but over time the whole thing got so diluted that it became difficult to grasp who was there, when and why. Of course, all this is explained in books, a separate wikipedia and in some internal AC bible used in Ubisoft, but for someone who is only now showing interest in the series, Ubisoft has prepared a series of materials, the so-called "Lore Guide" in the form of short video summaries of the action, issues, characters, etc.

The first such material focused on the Assassins themselves, their fraternity and role in history. Even if you know all about it, it’s interesting to hear and see how Ubisoft simplifies that story. For example, this video only mentions the order of the Assassins, but not the character who preceded it all and was the first to use the practices that the Assassins later inherited. Fortunately, they have time for jokes about the invention of coffee.

The following video will focus on opponents of the Order of Assassin, the famous Templars. It is to be expected that the new materials will be released in the next 30 days, until the release of the new adventure of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
