Ninja turtles come to Smite because they can

Action MOBA Smite will get totally unexpected guests next month. Namely, Ninja Turtles come into play.

So-called crossovers can be extremely popular and attract new audiences with games. Fortnite has a doctorate on this because virtually all the more popular characters from John Wick through Deadpool to Wolverine have appeared in that game. Seeing this trend, the team behind the game SMITE decided to take the opportunity and bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Ninja Turtles into their game.

Namely, the development team of Hi-Rez Studios has an existing collaboration with the company Nickelodeon, which holds the rights to "turtles", so the arrival of the green four in Smite is more than meaningful addition of these characters to the game where different deities and mythological creatures clash. This is confirmed by the fact that the Ninja Turtles in Smite will actually be skins for the existing characters: Osiris, Loki, Mercury and Sun Wukong.

Still, each turtle will have two costumes and the indispensable emote “Cowabunga!”. In addition to them, Splinter and Shredder will also appear in the game, which can be purchased separately.
