The home village in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be called Ravensthorpe

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will give players the opportunity to build a settlement as in the second and third parts of the series.

One of the best parts of Assassin’s Creed 2 was the renovation of Villa Monteriggioni for me. After the third part, the Assassins had "homes" on several occasions - the last time in the Syndicate, but there was a lack of upgrades and visual changes. Fortunately, the “base” upgrade returns to Valhalla where the player will take care of a settlement in Norway called Ravensthorpe.

With the arrival of the main character Eivor in Ravensthorpe, the expansion of the same begins through the establishment of a shop for a blacksmith. The settlement serves as a base of operations run by assistant Randvi, and from there the player will choose his assassinations. It will be possible to build a stable in the settlement where horses will be trained, a tattoo parlor, barracks, etc.

Ravensthorpe will be able to be upgraded to a total of six levels. Upgrades will most often be paid for with materials collected during raids and other activities in the UK. At later levels, hunting and fishing lodges, a cartographic office, a museum, a shipyard, etc. are unlocked. There will of course be Baba Valka's hut where Eivor will taste various cocktails that take him / her to another dimension, closer to the Nordic deities.

All in all, Ravensthorpe will serve as a resting place from looting and conquest across Britain. Ubisoft claims that they wanted to arouse the player's feeling of returning home and will prepare a number of motivations to return there, including Viking dates that will take place there.
