Fast and Furious 9 will be fast and furious in space

The humorous remark that the Fast & Furious movie series will eventually end up in space will actually become a reality, it seems.

Someone recently joked that the Fast & Furious movie series urgently needed action in space because they fired virtually every possible joke on the ground, from racing through mines to jumping from skyscrapers to skyscrapers to cars swaying in the air in the manner of Tarzan using vines. . Now, it is not very wise to joke with this film series because there is a little truth in every joke, and that this is the case with the space Fast & Furious, confirmed the actress Michelle Rodriguez.

She was asked in a recent interview on The Jess Cagle Show about a rumor that one of the characters in the upcoming ninth film, F9, will end up in space. Rodriguez admitted it wouldn’t be her character, but she seemed surprised at the mention of the space part of the film.

It’s not entirely clear if Rodriguez was joking with that rumor or just confirmed it, but like I said - it’s not exactly a joke with the Fast & Furious series. However, they have rocket-powered cars - so they are already halfway from Earth.

In the same interview, Rodriguez praised the fact that the screenwriter is working on the ninth film for the first time. She claims that this helped the female characters in the film to be more convincing and to bring them more dimensionality. But that doesn’t mean Michelle Rodriguez’s character will visit other dimensions - at least not until further notice.

They probably keep this for the thirteenth part when Letty discovers her origins from the planet Titan where the advanced race uses their blood as derivatives to power wheelless vehicles.
