No Man’s Sky is expanding the universe with the Origin upgrade

If you’ve thought you’ve explored every nook and cranny of the universe, with the new upgrade come loads of things including a huge sandworm that is always hungry for some reason.

Although No Man’s Sky started life on shaky feet, the developers did not give up, so they still managed to stabilize the game and somewhat revive the vision they had not presented since the first announcement. That vision isn’t over yet because a new upgrade called Origin further expands the game so if you’ve explored everything so far, this could be why it’s worth turning on the spaceship’s engines again.

With already standard new planets just waiting to be discovered, there are now systems with binary and ternary stars. According to the developers, the new planets thus include dramatic changes in landscapes, which means new flora and fauna, as well as huge mountains, volcanoes and the like.

An additional atmosphere will be provided by a new display of weather conditions, with the rest of the technical side getting improvements which means better textures, lighting, higher level of detail… To make gaming more comfortable, improvements have been made to the interface with a new content to be discovered in ancient civilizations. Since this is a 3.0 version of the game, you can see all the changes on the official website and see the summaries in the attached trailer.
