The next major update for the popular Rocket League will be available next week, and since then the game has also become free to play.
Summer is slowly passing, and none of that promise that the Rocket League will become free! But don't worry - car football is switching to a free-to-play model on the first day of autumn, September 23 at 5 p.m.
Starting tomorrow, it will be possible to link individual platforms to your Epic Games account, which will allow you to save the progress you make on any platform to play on any other platform. For example, you start playing on the console and then continue on the PC where you left off, or vice versa.
As already announced, from the same day, September 23, the game will disappear from Steam for all new players. Those who already own it on Steam will be able to continue playing as if nothing has happened.
As an additional incentive for everyone to create an account for Epic Games and add the game to the Epic Games Store, a coupon of 10 euros will be offered. So, if Rocket League adds to your collection on EEC then you will get a coupon worth 10 euros there which you can use to buy any game with a minimum value of 14.99 euros.
