Fortnite gets nicer graphics, see what it will look like

Epic Games and Nvidia have announced that Fortnite will receive support for ray-tracing effects on the PC, as well as optimization for DLSS technology.

Fortnite will soon look prettier than usual! The game won’t change its distinctive visual style, but it will get support for current techniques like ray-tracing and Nvidia’s DLSS. For now, this only applies to the PC version, but chances are high that we will see this graphics advancement on next-generation consoles as well.

But what exactly does that mean? Well, let me tell you the truth - not much, but if you have a graphics card from the RTX series you will see better reflections of the world on water and glass surfaces. Everything in real time.

The improvement won’t be drastic, as in Minecraft for example, but support for DLSS technology could help run the game in 4K resolution to get a higher number of frames per second, and thus a smoother performance.
