The dark Diablo 4 has been announced

As expected, Blizzard has announced the fourth installment of the Diablo series. The main opponent this time is the feminine gender.

Blizzard started this year's BlizzCon Convention with an apology for the failures they made in the affair with punishing Hearthstone tournament players. But the real form of apology is actually the announcement of new games, the first of which is Diablo 4, or Diablo IV.

This anticipated announcement has brought us confirmation of the rumors so far. Diablo 4 will be darker in tone than its predecessor, and this time the main threat will be Lilith, the mother of Nephalem and the woman who, according to folk tradition, is the first woman of the first man, Adam.

  • Blizzard says with Diablo 4 they go back to their roots and bring a darker presentation full of blood, occult symbols and horror themes
  • the genre game is still an isometric RPG, a story set after the events of Diablo III
  • it is confirmed that the game will have PvP mode, that is, PvP zones in which players will be able to fight each other
  • we will see other players in cities, and we will be able to trade with them
  • the first three classes presented are Barbarian, Sorceress and Druid

  • all characters will be able to ride - horseback riding is shown for now
  • new technology will be used (we assume a new engine) that allows for more complex animations (eg to convert Druid into animals)
  • it is under development for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
  • the game is already in a playable state so BlizzCon visitors can play the early version, which means it shouldn't be very far out
