Overwatch 2 confirmed, brings PvE missions for four players

The rumors of Overwatch 2 have also come true. New visual style, PvE and co-op content, additional mode and new heroes are the highlights of Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 was announced and as Blizzard says, it's a different definition of a sequel. Specifically, Overwatch 2 will be a brand new game and will not be there to replace the first part. However, the owners of the first part will be able to play with Overwatch 2 players and will get all the new heroes, modes and folders that come with the sequel.

However, if you want to experience the story through the PvE component, it seems you will need to buy a sequel. The good news is that in this case, all the progress made in the first part will be transferred to the second part, along with all the items and costumes won.

So a significant novelty is the PvE component through four-player co-op missions. In these missions Overwatch heroes will fight against the Null Sector, that is, the elite forces of the Talon Corporation. Computer controlled opponents will have specific strategies and will ask players to adapt to their behavior. Heroes will be able to upgrade their skills in this mode.

The PvP component will not be neglected either. A new mode called Push is coming for her to play in both casual and ranked modes. In this mode, teams fight for control of a robot that is placed in the middle of the map at the beginning of the match. The goal is to bring the robot as close to the opponent's camp as possible, and the point is that opponents can grab control of the robot at any time. New maps are also being saved for the PvP component: Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, Gothenburg and Monte Carlo.

The game also has a visual refreshment, primarily in the art style. All heroes will have a new look, the environments will be more dynamic and have more details. Of course, there will be new characters, or heroes. The first addition to Overwatch 2 will be Sojourn, the former Overwatch captain.
