Even five-year-old graphics cards will be able to run Halo: Reach in 4K resolution

The nine-year-old Halo: Reach in the PC version won't require expensive hardware, which was to be expected.

You may have forgotten, like me, that the old games of the HALO series are coming to PC. First in line is Halo: Reach and is reportedly about to be ready for release so Microsoft has dropped official hardware requirements for the game.

Given that it is a refined version of the nine-year-old game, these requirements are suitably low, so if you can run today's games, chances are you will be able to run the game in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Specifically, for such 4K luxury you will need a minimum of AMD FX-6350 and Radeon 480, respectively i5-3450 and GTX 770.

As for the lowest spectrum, the game will spin on an AMD HD 6850 card as old as Halo: Reach itself. The only constant for all requirements is 8GB of working memory, which is today's average, but it is also sixteen times the capacity of the Xbox 360 console the game was originally designed for.
