Ubisoft messes with Splinter Cell again
Ubisoft's Spanish branch of pure peace has begun to shed the wisdom of Sam Fisher, the main character of the Splinter Cell series.
In the middle of the year I was ready to put my hand in the fire for the announcement of a new Splinter Cell game. And then Ubisoft introduced a mobile game hosted by Sam Fisher at the E3 Show. The disappointment of the fans was quite great, especially since the Ubisoft team joked about working on the game a few days before (after drinking some wine).
However, Sam Fisher's return has not yet been written off, and the fire has now been ignited by the Spanish branch of Ubisoft, who posted a picture of the main character of Splinter Cell Games on Twitter yesterday with a message that reads: "You have to understand the darkness in order to face it."
No explanation was offered at the time of publication, so we do not know what the context is. The first thing that comes to mind is the anniversary of the Splinter Cell series, but it is only being celebrated later, on the 17th of this month. Ubisoft in Spain has one team that has not worked independently on any major game so far. But more importantly, Ubisoft has three unannounced games planned for 2020. One belongs to Assassin's Creed series, and it's pretty likely that Splinter Cell could be another undiscovered game.
